Honor Role

Honor Role was a band from Richmond, Virginia that existed in the eighties. They were incredibly influential even though they never really became as “famous” as many of their contemporaries. They had such an impact on me, in fact, that I dedicated an entire chapter of MANCHILD 5 to them. Considering MANCHILD 5 is a book about the 1980s hardcore scene in Raleigh, NC and Honor Role are from Richmond, VA… well… you get the picture. This shirt, depicting the classic Bob Schick/Pen Rollings/Chip Jones/Steve Schick lineup, is my loving tribute to a band so great that a friend recently summed them up with this all too true quote: “There are two kinds of people in the world: Those who loved Honor Role, and those who have never heard Honor Role”.
