Eagle Twin

Salt Lake City: An interesting place where the mountains meet the strange Salt Lake; one of weirdest places I have ever been. Next to Stephen Egerton and Karl Alvarez of the Massacre Guys moving out of Salt Lake City and joining the Descendents a million years ago, the only other person I knew out of the area was this guy Gentry Densley. He played guitar in the band Iceburn, and he had studied everyone from Greg Ginn to Pen Rollings and he even played a Dan Armstrong. I had a few Iceburn records and they were really good, he was a great player.

Flash forward decades and I see he is playing in a new duo with drummer Tyler Smith called Eagle Twin, a duo. Only they are not a new band at all. You can’t know about everything. Right away I was pummeled by their sound, which was very reminiscent of nature, berries, timber, oxes, splitting wood for the fire, you know that sort of thing. He played what looked like a baritone guitar or a six string bass. It is some crazy shit. I never knew Gentry. But through the magic of the internet, now I do. After I asked a bunch of annoying questions, he agreed to the idea of me drawing a limited Bifocal Media t shirt for their fan base, and here it is!
