Melvins

Our first work with The Melvins came with the release of 2007’s “Making Love Demos” CD that was packaged with Brian Walsby’s “Manchild 3” Book. We’ve since worked with the band on over 50 collaborative projects. If you were to tell 17 year old me (1992) that I’d make my living working with bands like Melvins, I’d have been more than impressed with my future self. The same can be said of our work with Tom (Haze XXL) Hazelmyer. I’ve been following his antics since stumbling across one of AmRep’s “Dope, Guns…” compilations in the mid 1990s.

Since these super limited, artsy fartsy hats/ patches seem to be quite popular, we figured Melvins deserve some embroidered magic of their own. We initially used this art on the “Alive At The F#$%er Club” Tee. This would be the first Melvins project we worked on with Tom Hazelmyer. Needless to say, folks were stoked on the shirt and we were excited to be working with Thomas. We’re still quite pleased to be associated with The Melvins and Tom and we hope you dig this super limited bit of apparel. -Charles/ Bifocal Media
