Adam Faucett And The Tall Grass

I was introduced to Adam Faucett’s music by Brian Walsby. In the car on the way to drop him off at Philadelphia airport to return home, he played me The Great Basking Shark. It was perfect for that day and I listened to it twice more on the way back to New Jersey. It was thoroughly stuck in my head after that first listen and I happily dove into his other records. When Adam Faucett and the Tall Grass released ‘It Took the Shape of a Bird’ this year, we listened to it on repeat for days… start to finish it was damn near perfect. The combination of songwriting, skillful playing, and mood paint gorgeously lush images and stories in your mind when you first hear it, and gain even more depth upon further listens. We listened to It Took the Shape of a Bird on repeat as I drew this shirt, which was based off a flyer I drew for them on a recent tour.
