Who is one of the most consistently menacing, threatening, and dangerous hardcore punk acts with a history going back to 1982 or 1983? Who has consistently put out great record after record with lineup after lineup with a big handful of classics along the way? Who espouses a no compromise nihilistic (but with intelligence) attitude that is only always enhanced by the brute force of the music? Why, it has to be Portland’s longstanding band Poison Idea, guided by sole constant Jerry A, their singer and main songwriter! That’s who! It is truly a thrill to do this. I picked some idea based on one of their greatest songs and I think fans will take one look and get it completely. Simple, straight ahead and no bullshit. That is this shirt, and that is Poison Idea.
