Big Business

I was living in Seattle, WA when I first heard Big Biz from a couple of friends of mine who had seen them play. I mean, with members of the legendary KARP and Murder City Devils teaming up, you knew it would be amazing rhythm heavy madness and that piqued my interest. I saw them play a lot of shows in the PNW and met them when they played with Torche solidifying that they were one of the nicest bands out there.

The first song of theirs that I became obsessed with was “Easter Romantic” and I still play the hell of it today. So when I was asked to create a shirt for the mighty Big Biz, I tapped a combination of the lyrics to that song and Jared’s visual art that has graced their covers and flyers alike. Those ideas being threatening and majestic animals towering over mankind. I’m overjoyed to be able to make a fun design that represents my love for that song and as an ode to one of the heaviest and most fun bands to ever level stages and to the visual art that Jared had created to represent the band.  -santos
