Craig Ferguson

Scottish born funnyman, actor, director Craig Ferguson knows his way around the big leagues of the entertainment industry. His presence there is hard to avoid as he’s done everything from hosting the Late Late Show on CBS to playing the role of Nigel Wick on the Drew Carey Show. If you’re here reading this, you’re likely aware of what Craig’s been up to for the past 30 years or so.

In the ‘80s Mr Ferguson was busy drumming for Scottish punk bands like the Night Creatures, Exposure, Ana Hausen, and The Bastards From Hell. I’m not totally certain, but I’m guessing Craigs past in the rock and roll underground may have (In one way or another) lead to him working with tour manager Tomas Zakopal.

Zakopal works with a lot of the same bands we have (Boris, Dinosaur Jr, Etc) and a few years back he reached out to me and Brian Walsby about designing a shirt design for Craig Ferguson’s standup tour. A year or so later I was asked to do design and animation for Craig’s “Hobo Fabulous” Tv series.

That leads us to where we are now… with this Chris Shary painting of Craig on a T shirt. Tomas and Craig mentioned that they were digging the Chris Shary tees we did with John Brannon and Michael Imperioli. Naturally, I asked if they’d being into putting Craig’s face (as imagined by Chris Shary) on a tee. They were interested and here you have it!  -Charles Cardello/ Bifocal Media
