The Crawlspace Press

My first introduction to Skillet and Caitlin was as internationally beloved musicians who played together in Whiskytown. Having lived in Raleigh, NC for many years; I later came to know them as super cool people and amazing visual artists. Skillet runs The Crawlspace Press. It’s a very cool company that screen produces poster work. I’ve been wanting to work with these two for years now and I couldn’t be happier with this shirt. Like the vast majority of people, Caitlin and I have watched in horror at what is happening in neighborhoods across the country. The rage is incandescent and it’s hard to know what to do, but looking out for our vulnerable neighbors is the communal, almost instinctual action and whistles are often the first sign that threats are nearby. While talking about what to put in the Valentine’s Pocket Bags we do every year, Caitlin texted “you should make a heart out of whistles.” Anyway, she’s brilliant, so I did just that and Bifocal Media has agreed to handle the shirts so we can do this on a larger scale with a 1/3rd of the proceeds going to the ACLU. –Skillet Gilmore
