Death Skate

I started Death Skate fanzine in 82, inspired by the fanzines like Maximum RNR, Flipside as well as Thrasher and other skate mags. ‘Using the DIY aesthetic and experience from working on my HS newspaper. It was a mix of local and national bands and local skating spots. And while I only produced 2 issues of the zine, It’s mark lived on through the shirts I designed and the fanzines that I contributed to afterwards. -Errol Engelbrecht
