Sarah Shook has an interesting story to tell. A raised in a strict religious household, homeschooled, musically trained, punk rock, honky-tonk, rock-n-roll kind of story. Here’s how Sarah sums up the Disarmers: “We are definitely a country band, We’re definitely a rock-and-roll band. There is punk rock that flows through the band every night on tour. The point of everything that we do is the music.”

When artist Alexis Price approached me with the idea of doing this shirt, I was immediately excited about working with Sarah and Co. Here’s what Alexis had to say about this one: “I don’t have much to add except I really dig this band. Sarah and I hooked up in 2016 when I did the first logo for Manifest Music Festival. Manifest was in response to underrepresented women and gender nonconformists in music. The Fest still happens every year in Chapel Hill”
