Antioch Arrow

I lost interest in all things punk rock and hardcore related after the first wave of it sort of died out by 1986 or so. I can honestly say, there have only been a handful of bands since that have captured my attention for that sort of thing. The late San Diego early nineties band (who recorded for the infamous Gravity records label) Antioch Arrow were definitely one of those bands. Fast, chaotic, and sort of dark sounding; Antioch Arrow were almost like a tight super unhinged gothy take on Void (to me, at least) and I loved their records. Even their swan song: the bizarre “Gems Of Masochism” mini album. I saw them live once, they were fucking great.

It was only decades later, that I started reading online testimonials of the massive influence that Antioch Arrow had on the world. This is pretty impressive since they were only a band for a little while. What started out as a drawing that described one of their lyrics has suddenly turned into an “official” shirt.

Charles (from Bifocal) and I are big fans and we are stoked that we get to make an honest to god “real” Antioch Arrow shirt. We hope you are too. -Brian Walsby
