Product Description
Bifocal Media is a child of 1990s underground punk/ hardcore. Two standouts in this regard include the bands KARP and Murder City Devils. Another 90s superlative award can be applied to the Hydra Head record label; which put out some of my favorite records from the era. In 2004, members of Murder City and KARP formed the band Big Business and released a record on Hydra Head. As could be expected from such a merger, I was/ am a big fan of Big Business.
We became acquainted with the Big Business guys when they joined the Melvins. We had worked with Melvins on a several projects already (with Brian Walsby) so working with Big Business on T shirts was a no-brainer. This is the third T-Shirt we’ve done with them and it comes courtesy of Tokyo based artist Jay Holmes. Jay is a Bifocal Media alumni and here’s what he has to say about this one:
Yo! Evil Jay from Tokyo here. I’m stoked to have been able to kick some artwork for the Big Business guys. I’m a fan of this killer/ worthy band and have been looking forward to releasing this new Bifocal Media shirt. I hope I captured the band’s savage yet stylish feel with this design.
