Lemonheads

In retrospect, I realize I am overly critical of the 90’s decade. I oftentimes write it off as being a pretty dull (just generally) and ugly time period. I have a rather flippant attitude for it, but honestly, it was a great time to be a young adult. Looking back, I can’t think of a much better soundtrack for what the early 90’s sounded like than “It’s A Shame About Ray”. You simply could not escape hearing it in coffee shops, college dorm rooms, and bars nationwide. It really thrusts me back to some of the truly beautiful aspects of the 90’s. It’s cute, catchy, and smells like clove cigarettes. It’s incredible to think it’s 30 this year, and I have to say: it sounds better than ever to these damaged eras. -Chris Shary
