Pulley

Here is the second shirt that I have drawn for the Southern California band Pulley.

I have known singer Scott Radinsky, guitarist Mike Harder, and guitarist Trey Clinesmith for decades. They are my oldest friends. I played with Scott In Scared Straight. I backed up Mike on plenty of his own songs. Trey played in a band called Fatal Error that we were all tight with. Bassist Tyler Rebbe and drummer Chris Daley are great guys as well.

I think that the long lasting seasonal band is quite good and seem to be well respected. Their reluctance to try and use the band to “make it” has served them quite well over the years and is certainly one reason why they are still an active band to this day. They seem to be a little more active lately, which is as good a reason as any to offer this new shirt.

Pulley has roots going back into the eighties hardcore thing (even though you couldn’t call them that sort of band), so riffing off of Minor Threat drummer Jeff Nelson’s early graphics seemed to be a good way to go. Lord knows we all worshipped the early Dischord records stuff along with everything else we were being exposed to.
