There’s a t-shirt or a bumper sticker that’s been going around for a while now that reads something like “People Who Introduce You To New Music Are Important”; and yes yes yes….it’s so true. It’s one of the reasons why the music of Sarah Shook & The Disarmers coiled it’s way into my heart. One fateful walk through my Tokyo town i was tuned into the Sound Opinions podcast -and boy do they love them some Sarah Shook! It wasn’t long before I was sold; and the more and more I realized it, I was playing her records around the house quite a bit. My kids and whole fam are big fans and I’ve watched from overseas as her spirited sound has gone on to so many new levels. I’m damn excited, and dare I say a little bit proud of myself, for being able to have my art printed on this fine apparel. Thanx very much!
