Release # BFLD277
Limited to 300
My first exposure to The Freeze was the “This Is Boston Not LA” compilation. I was an instant fan of their catchy, rapid fire, snotty hardcore and the song “Broken Bones” became a bit of a personal anthem to me and many other odd ball music dorks.
“Princess Die” is a rewrite of a song titled “Too Good For You” that was initially recorded and intended for inclusion on the “Boston Not LA” Comp. The song didn’t make the final cut (due to time constraints) and the band rewrote it as “Princess Die” for their 1985 release “Rabid Reaction”.
We got the basic concept for this shirt a while ago from Freeze front man Clif Croce and his buddy Richard Deatheridge. The idea of an individual so spoiled, pampered, and sheltered from reality that they can’t learn from failure, admit when they’re wrong, or empathize with humanity applies well to the individual featured on this garment. We hope you dig it as much as we do! -Charles Cardello/ Bifocal Media
