TSOL

At the tail end of 2022 I drove on down to Fresno from Stockton to see Scowl, TSOL and the Circle Jerks. I can’t even recall how many times I’ve seen TSOL, all I know is it’s never enough and they never put on a bum show. I got down plenty early to hang out and shoot the shit with everyone pre-show. Jack and I had a great time chatting about all things going on in our worlds. I casually mentioned that if he needs any help with anything coming up to not hesitate to ask me. Well, sure enough all bands absolutely played that night, and I drove the 100 miles back home super late. Early the next morning I began reading Keith Morris’ “My Damage” when I got a phone call from Jack. He had called to take me up on the offer of doing something for them. They had a series of shows coming up and the Fresno punks had bought the last of the remaining TSOL march. Jack needed a new design….like that day. I told him no worries and before dinner I had banged out this Statue of Liberty image. Immediately Jack called back and was beyond stoked. He was so excited he even got a kick drum head made with it for Antonio! AND they did indeed have new shirts that next week. Trouble is, when I posted it, many folks were wanting to get it but couldn’t get to any of the shows. That’s when Bifocal stepped in!
