Product Description
Dave Markey and Jordan Schwartz created the epic WE GOT POWER fanzine in the early eighties. It was a wonderful documentation of the Los Angeles punk rock scene at the time and is a real slice of history. Since then WE GOT POWER has expanded far beyond those early print issues to include records, movies and books. I am a fan of what both of these two gentlemen have done and wanted to pay tribute to WE GOT POWER with this brand new t-shirt. Some of you might recognize some celebs in the background (I.e. members of BLACK FLAG, REDD KROSS and a special appearance by the late lamented Bill Bartell i.e. Pat Fear).
Charles did a beautiful job transferring the feel of what was a black and white drawing to a black t-shirt. I will wear this proudly when they are done. Hopefully you will too! -Brian Walsby
