Equilibrium.  The name says it all.  We seek it, or should.  It can seem an impossible and yet the planet itself manages it twice a year.  The solstice is proof of the possibility.

There is more noise than there’s ever been.  It can seem unreasonable to in turn seek more quiet – there is only so much room in a single life for either.

To some extent at least, we each hold the power to turn down the noise.  Or at least stop adding to it.

Or to change the shape of the noise to something more manageable.  Take those headphones off and turn up the volume.  I recommend The Clash “London Calling”. -Chris Mars
