“Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf (Grey) ”
- Artist Ron Liberti
Release # BFLD046

This started as an image of Elizabeth Taylor from “Who’s afraid of Virginia Woolf”. i imagine this girl, (from the movie) their fictional child (now a grown adult punk rock queen) ditching Berkeley for the rust belt and landing in beautiful Columbus, Ohio; where she found and followed the band and sound that would change her life for good…The New Bomb Turks! “Can I be on your shirt?” she asked. “Shit yeah” they said. the rest is history. Cheerio. -Ron Liberti
I’ve been a fan of the New Bomb Turks since hearing their cover of the Queers’ “This Place Sucks” back in 1993 or so. They’ve continued to deliver record after record of high octane Rock n’ Roll and I’m really happy that they agreed to work with us on a shirt. I’m also very happy to finally get to work with Ron Liberti. When I approached NBT about this project, Ron was the first artist to come to mind. Ron is well known in the Chapel Hill area and beyond for his printmaking and as the front man for PIPE. Get it while we got it!
LIMITED TO 300. Ladies’ shirts are printed on Bella Favorite Ts. Ladies’ sizes run small!
