Sometimes when I’m driving and another driver cuts me off or gives me the finger I just think to myself, “That person is having a worse day than I am.” Seems to me that people are rarely mad about what they’re mad about. They’re mad about other things.
It’s that way sometimes with the things people should be mad about too.
This painting is called Transference. I wasn’t the least bit mad when I made it. I was brave with the color and it worked the way I wanted it to. -Chris Mars
