Ghost Work

I feel like I’ve known Sean Husick for just about as long as I’ve known almost anybody. We met when we were both teenagers and putting together our own little tape labels and we’d meet up here and there at various shows or old hardcore fests where (right before the 30th band of the afternoon played) we’d hang out and chat. Hell, his old label even put out one of my first real band’s cassette releases. Before I knew it, time had gone by and suddenly we were both sharing the stage a few times; him sitting behind the drum kit for seminal angular-art outfit Milemarker and me fronting The Ladderback.

As crazy as it sounds, we both still continue to have a passion for creating music and pushing ourselves in artistic directions. Sean now plays in GHOST WORK; a serious contender for a group that you will be hearing and reading a lot about. GHOST WORK’s new album entitled “Light A Candle For The Lonely” has all the grace and power of a band that has honed their teeth (broken their teeth?) on hardcore and has scaped through the maturity phase with a newfound head for hooks, driving rhythm and stellar songwriting. Fans of Seaweed, Snapcase, Minus The Bear all should take note (especially considering that GHOST WORK’s lineup consists of members of all of the above. It really is a blast of fresh air and I’m so excited to feature this special limited edition tee (on either black or white) for those who love this band.Their album arrives March 2024 via Spartan Records.
