Turned Out A Punk

Turned Out A Punk (hereby known as TOAP) is just one of those podcasts that is just made for people like me. Straddling the lines between extensively in-depth chats with awesome people and a hefty dash of obsessive weirdo record collecting talk; TOAP definitely grabbed me by the jugular and had never let go. Damian (yes… from the incredible band Fucked Up) really does his research and each episode digs deep  into what was going on in their guest’s heads, in their scenes, in their homes, and in their lives as they discovered punk and how it has come to shape their current lives and the way they see the world around them. If you’re like me… you’ll walk away from each episode with a frantically written series of notes with more than a few bands to check out, or revisit, as Damian and his guests really mine some obscure and engaging corners of the deep dark underbelly of … Punk!!! I wanted this shirt art to sort of balance out the manic nature of the obsessive energy that seems to go into each episode of TOAP as well as the fun side of just hanging out and talking about cool records and live shows that we were at.
