Product Description
In the mid 90s I was obsessed with fast, screamy hardcore. Bands like Charles Bronson, Spazz, Infest, Hellnation, Capitalist Casualties… etc. I booked shows, bought tons of records, hosted a radio program… etc.
I met To Live a Lie founder and owner Will Butler in the mid 2000s Raleigh, NC underground rock scene. At this point, I was running BFM as my “real” job and most of my free time was spent at coffee shops, bars, and rock clubs. I was a bit older than Will and (I was) not as in tune with underground thrash as I had been in my college days.
I also spent a lot of my abundant spare time playing pickup soccer. Will Butler was also down with the footy and around 2010 we started seeing a lot of each other on the soccer field. This is when I discovered that Will was running a record label with a substantial roster and (to my surprise) he’d been doing so since 2005.
Since we’re at the tail end of 2025, I figured Will and I should probably work together on something. Record label themed tees are super fun for us and To Live A Lie is kicking more arse than ever; so this one was a no brainer. Evil Jay was just as stoked on the idea and went to work on this beauty.
