Die Kreuzen

Much loved and lamented, Milwaukee’s DIE KREUZEN began thier scorched earth policy in the early eighties with thier classic “Cows And Beer” ep and ferocious and still hard to beat self titled album. This era of the band has seemed to go down in history as being one of the most glaringly original bands that played “hardcore” anywhere; garbage disposal screams, amazing drum and bass chops and a guitarist who obviously knew more than three chords. As the years went by the band grew and somewhat changed and if you were along for the ride, records like “October Files” and “Century Days” both had some amazing moments. -Brian Walsby
