Product Description
Way back in the mists of time, back to the early to mid eighties, tons of kids across the u.s.a. formed these (initially) hardcore punk bands where the kids began to incorporate other influences into their core. Lo and behold, there was this sort of post hardcore aesthetic that influenced everyone from Husker Du to Rites Of Spring to Honor Role to Loiusville Kentucky’s legendary Squirrel Bait. Like all of the above mentioned bands, Squirrel Bait were a highly influential, short lived band with a handful of records that (although were not wildly popular) influenced a ton of people along the way. Check out the “Skag Heaven” l.p. and their “Twelve” e.p and marvel at that sound… ‘Just great great stuff.
