Marginal Man

Marginal Man was a pivotal Washington DC band. Their debut 1984 mini LP “Identity” was the perfect ground zero for what had happened before in that scene and what was going to happen in the future. More melodic and varied punk music but still with a harder and more emotional sort of edge. They totally blazed every time that I was able to see them and they still remain an important band several years after their demise. This drawing was based off of a video that was filmed and featured in the recent “Salad Days” movie, so there is a sort of historical twist to it. I think it came out well.
