Product Description
Two years ago artist Chris Shary began a massive series of quick Sharpie portraits that has spun out of control. Initially the series began out of sheer boredom and a simple desire to draw Abraham Lincoln. Shary quickly shifted gears and began illustrating punk music icons that have made a difference in his life. Ian MacKaye was the first on his list.
Shary, a high school drama teacher, is currently teaching because of punk rock and figures like MacKaye. Filled with the desire to make a difference, Shary began his teaching career 18 years ago, all the while illustrating in his spare time. It’s a tremendous honor that Ian has allowed us to use his likeness on this limited edition shirt.
A portion of all profits for this one will be donated to the Woman’s Center Youth and Family Services of San Joaquin County.
LIMITED TO 285. Ladies’ shirts are printed on Bella “Favorite Tees”. The Ladies’ sizes run small.
