Product Description
Ouchfinger and To Live A Lie Records team up with a design rooted in the strange little corner of TLAL lore that grew out of the pickup soccer games Charles and Will used to play. They’d show up to whatever field we could get away with — schoolyards, parks, the occasional “this is probably trespassing” patch of grass — and set up goals made from hoodies, backpacks, or whatever was in the trunk. No refs, no rules, no boundaries. Just DIY chaos, the same way basement shows work when everyone’s figuring it out as they go.
Those games always felt like they were happening in some alternate DIY dimension — the kind where time didn’t matter, the field was always slightly crooked, and every match felt like it could turn into a full‑blown saga. They’d argue over phantom goals, swear the ball had a mind of its own, and play until someone had to sprint off to make load‑in. Every game felt like it could be the last one before the universe reset itself.
This shirt takes that feeling and blows it up into full mythology: the “Ruling All Records Cup,” where a Hell‑side ringer storms onto the pitch like he’s been summoned by every blown call we ever made. Heaven’s already down 0–1, and the possessed ball looks exactly like the kind that would vanish into the woods mid‑game and never return — the unofficial end of a match no one agreed was over.
Printed on quality blanks and up for preorder now. A dramatic slice of TLAL’s DIY multiverse, where hardcore punk and last minute text message pickup soccer share the same chaotic heartbeat. -Will Butler/ To Live A Lie Records
