Ultrabomb

While my wife was in the hospital recently, I finally checked out the new record by the punk rock supergroup known as ULTRABOMB. I was interested initially because this is the new band that Greg Norton (ex Husker Du bassist) was in along with these two other guys: Jamie Oliver and Finny Mcconell (on drums and guitars respectively). I started listening and was pretty impressed! Yes, there is a little nod to Husker Du, but there is some other stuff in there as well and it was all impressive and instantly caught my ear. The songs have some cool energy.

I read about how these three met up in Europe for the first time, and basically wrote an entire album in two days! Listening to Ultrabomb a few nights in a row at a hospital really hit the spot. I got really sucked in to the first album and there is another one almost ready to go! I asked Greg if we could do a shirt and he said “yes” and here it is! I would like to thanks Charles and Greg and the rest of Ultrabomb for allowing this to happen. Cheers! -Brian Walsby
